Как защитить сайт от нежелательных ботов?

Включаешь логи, отслеживаешь ip ботов, далее блокируешь эти ip в файле .htaccess

что-то мне твой вариант добавил 80 человек онлайн, из которых было 20 пользователей... бред какой-то. Целый день прибавлялись, всё больше и больше. Удалил правила - пропали.
